Ina C. Coston

Ina Claire Wedlow -Coston age 71 peacefully transitioned from her earthly home to her eternal resting place on March 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and close friends. Ina joined Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in 2002, where she faithfully served as a Deaconess. She was an active and devoted member of numerous ministries, including the Choir, Sunday School, Unity Broadcast Ministry, Beautification Ministry, General Mission, Armour Bearers, and Food Pantry.
Ina was a proud graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana, Class of 1973. Following high school, Ina attended John Amico Beauty College in Merrillville, Indiana. Ina worked with several private and public service organizations. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Virginia Wedlow, and her three brothers: Isaac Conrad Wedlow (infant), Kevin Jerome Wedlow, and Isaac Keith Wedlow.
Ina leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Shelton Coston; her children, Rick Wedlow (Tawanda), Michaé Love and Michael Love ; and her seven grandchildren: Ashlee, Rickie II, Mikayla Iniece, Mekhi, Royalty, Royal, and Lahdyn. She also leaves behind her special daughter in love, Tawanda Wedlow. Her siblings, Jennifer Wedlow Mobley, Brian Wedlow, and Kecia Wedlow Woods; her bonus grandchildren; Trevelle, Xya, Davion, Xyon, Sherrod Jr., Sky, Rashaud, Star, Enoch, Summer, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. She also held a special place in her heart for her dear friends, Barbara Fisher, Jessica Redfield, Jeanette Terry, and Janice Culver.
