Ireanne Wegener

Ireanne Grace Wegener (nee Kaske), 87, of Rolling Meadows, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025. She was born January 28, 1938, in Chicago, IL to the late Irene and Howard Kaske.

Ireanne was the loving mother of Robert (Cindy), Thomas, Mark (Roberta), Julie (Marc), and Christin (Christopher); Her greatest joy was her role as grandmother to Sara, Robyn, Bethany, Brian, Amy, Leah, Christina, Troy, Kelly, Brett, and Kenneth; as well as great-grandmother of Abigail, Xander, Frederick, Siena, Bryce, Rylen, Trey, Nadia, Ryan, and Ryder. She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend Robert; granddaughter Allesa; and siblings Howard Kaske, Phyllis Ordower, and Gloria Gercken.

A devoted follower of the Chicago Cubs, she never missed a televised game. Always a newshound, Ireanne appreciated lively discussion of current events. Ireanne enjoyed a successful 45 year career at Bankers Life & Casualty where she met some of her closest friends.

Visitation Monday, November 24, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Meadows Funeral Home, 3615 Kirchoff Rd., Rolling Meadows.
Funeral mass 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Colette Church, 3900 Meadow Dr., Rolling Meadows. Then, we will meet at 11:30 am at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Rd., Libertyville by the office to line up and go in procession to the grave.
