Irene M. Gentry was born December 30, 1956 in Richmond Ca to Manuel and Senobia Montanez.
She is survived by her only child Tricia Anita Vasquez of Los Banos, in addition to four grandchildren Nicolette & Joshua Quinones of Phoenix, Arizona, Alyssa & Jovanni Villegas of Turlock, CA, Steven and Jessica Reyes of Los Banos, and Isaiah Reyes of Salinas, leaving 7 Great grandchildren Lanayah, Nehemiah, Jaelen, Rowen, Charlotte, Adam, Lincoln.
She is preceded in death by both parents Manuel and Senobia Montanez.
Irene vowed marriage to her first husband Van Keith Gentry in 1991 for 15 years.
Irene also leaves behind to cherish her memory her last love Robert Fontes and 5 siblings John Montanez, Martha Prien, Helen Montanez, Joe & Barbara Montanez, Monia & Tim Templeton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Shopping at Macy's was just one of many things she liked to do. Irene would often tell stories to anyone around her about all her great achievements.
She worked at numerous places over her Life starting at FMC but she retired from Lockheed Martin. She started at LM in April of 2003 and Retired in March of 2022 after ~18+ yrs of service with LM.
Irene enjoyed the company of numerous friends and coworkers. Loved traveling with her numerous coworkers to Las Vegas to see Carlos Santa and Shoreline to see the Doobie Brothers.
She enjoyed buying and fixing up houses over the years. Gardening was something she enjoyed doing in her spare time, we all know how much she loved her herbs.
Though she is no longer with us in the physical scene her impact forever remains.
