1963 - 2025

Jack B. Galbraith 62, of Wilmington, DE. passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2025, with his loving twin sister Jill by his side. He was born to Robert G. Galbraith I and Betty J. Galbraith (Field).
Jack attended Spruce Ave. Elementary and Oak Grove Middle School and Graduated from Wilmington High School, Class of 1982.
Jack was a Cement Finisher and Foreman in the Concrete Business for many years.
Jack received a Heart Transplant from Temple University in 1992. His Transplant Team later moved to University of Penn where Jack continued his care with the Department of Cardiac Transplant. He was a Heart Transplant survivor of 33 years.
Jack was an avid Golfer for over 36 years, preferring to golf at Porky Oliver Golf Course. In Jack's spare time he enjoyed fishing. LOL Jack was a fanatic for anything having to do with "BIGFOOT". Jack would always say, "they are out there!"
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Robert G. Galbraith I and Betty J. Galbraith (Field). His sisters Roberta Myers (Jack), Betty Lynn Bell (Bob), Sandra Vass and his nephew George C. Mitchell II (April), and his brother Robert G. (Goober) Galbraith II (Maryann). Goober unexpectedly
passed away on 03-31-2025.
Jack is survived by 4 daughters: Tonia Bozarth Bassett VA., Ashley Arnold (Brian)
Clayton, DE., and twins Dakotah Ross (Jordan) Mineola, TX . and Autumn Slavens
(Lance) Mineola, TX.
Grandchildren: Mia Arnold, Gavin Arnold, Rowen Ross, Rhett Ross, Ryker Slavens
and Reign Slavens.
Sisters: Chrissy Prata (Lou) Wilmington, DE., Sharon Prosceno-Dempsey (Brian)
ton, DE. and devoted twin sister Jill Friedman Wilmington, DE.
Sharon and I truly want to thank Jack's closest friends: Joey Schorah, Tommy Cox, Jerry Cox, Nicky Cox, Greg Cox, Chip Cox, Jerry Temple, DP and Skippy. All of Jack's Golf Buddies, he loved you all!
Sharon and I would like to give a special thank you to the University of Penn
Heart Transplant Team. Thank You to Delaware Hospice and Chandler Funeral Home.
Sharon and I would like to personally thank Humanity Gifts Registry of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Jack donated his body to Science and was accepted to Drexal University Philadelphia, PA.
We will have a Celebration of Life for Jack in the Fall of 2026.
