Jack Partridge White, 88, of Fort Myers Beach, FL passed away peacefully with family by his side on December 30, 2025.
Jack was born on September 10, 1937 in Detroit, MI to Ruby and Clyde White. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
He is survived by his three children, Dan White (Patty Kinas) of South Bend, Denise Treat of Indianapolis and Debra Dobransky of Fort Myers Beach, FL, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. There are also many surviving nieces, nephews and friends that loved Jack.
On May 23, 1956 Jack married Rita Micek in South Bend, IN. They made their home in South Bend and Union, MI until relocating to Fort Myers Beach, FL in 2000.
Jack had a long and successful work career as a paint supervisor for 35 years at South Bend School City. After he retired, he worked for several years at Herrman and Goetz in South Bend, IN. After he moved to Fort Myers Beach, FL, he continued to work for many years in the painting industry.
Jack loved the custom home he built on Baldwin Lake in Union, MI. Jack and Rita enjoyed this home for many, many years until they relocated to Fort Myers Beach, FL.
Over the past few years, Jack was very thankful for all the love and support he received from his family during Hurricanes Ian and Milton. They not only helped him rebuild his home but more importantly, made him laugh and kept his spirits up.
Finally, Jack will be remembered for his love of animals, especially his many dogs and cats that he cared for over the years.
A private family memorial was held at Lover's Key in Bonita Springs, FL.
