Jack M. Wilson, 86, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away on March 23, 2026, at The Service League of Greenville Hospice House in North Carolina. Born December 9, 1939, in Tuscarawas County, he was the son of the late Alta (Kedigh) and Clifford B. Wilson.

Jack graduated from Newcomerstown High School in 1957 and completed a technical engineering program in electronics at DeVry of Chicago in 1959. He later earned a bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University in 1996. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force and went on to build a distinguished career spanning more than 40 years as an electrical engineer.

His work included modernization projects for GM automotive plants in Ohio, Kansas, Michigan, and Tennessee, as well as fully automating the electronic control system for the U.S. Army in Pennsylvania. Jack also shared his expertise by teaching basic electricity to students pursuing plant maintenance, apprenticeships, and journeyman training.

He enjoyed traveling, golfing, fishing, reading, woodworking, and landscaping. In his youth, he was active in 4‑H and proudly showed champion dairy animals.

Jack was preceded in death by his siblings: his twin brother, Mack; Clifford; Warren; Evelyn; Rosella; and Laura Jean.

He is survived by his children Debbie L. Boehler (Steve) of Oklahoma City; Timothy J. Wilson (Wendi) of Lake Placid, Fla.; David M. Wilson of Acworth, Ga.; Jacqueline M. Wilson-Fitz of Gibsonton, Fla.; and Michael S. Wilson of Sevierville, Tenn.; as well as ten grandchildren and thirteen great‑grandchildren.

A celebration of life will follow burial at West Lawn Cemetery in Newcomerstown, Ohio.
