Send Flowers
Jaclyn Kremer (1997-2025)

Jaclyn Clarissa Amelia Kremer, a mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many, passed away in Cottonwood Heights, Utah on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the age of 28.

Jaclyn was born on June 3, 1997 to Natalie and Kenneth Kremer of Taylorsville, UT. She was a bright child, with striking blue eyes and an easy smile. Despite being the eighth of nine children, Jaclyn always found ways to stand out with her creative thinking, adventurous spirit, and unique sense of humor. She was fascinated with construction as a child and often built “houses” in the backyard with spare wood and tools she found in the shed. Teenage Jaclyn was very proud of her Dance Dance Revolution and Mario Kart skills. As a result, she was a fantastic dancer and once accidentally rammed the family car into the garage door. On a trip to Disneyland, Jaclyn dressed up as a cheeseburger (instead of princesses, like her sisters) and a Disney employee laughed so hard, he let her skip to the front of the 2-hour line. As her Mom was fond of saying, she was a “party in a box.”

After graduating from Taylorsville High School, Jaclyn met and married Brandon Roush. Together, they had their beautiful daughter, Emma. Though they eventually decided to end their marriage, Brandon and Jaclyn remained committed to Emma and her well-being. Jaclyn loved having “spontaneous dance parties” with her daughter, even going so far as to bring a portable disco ball to family events.

Jaclyn received her Associates Degree in Psychology and loved helping others. She worked with the homeless, the lonely, and those fleeing violence. Though the work was oftentimes difficult, Jaclyn repeatedly felt drawn to help those who needed assistance.

Jaclyn had a great love of the outdoors and trying new things. Her family will remember her hiking through Oregon rivers, jumping off waterfalls in Hawaii, and running headfirst into crashing waves in California. She recently spent a season living off-the-grid near the Oregon coast, where she enjoyed being surrounded by nature, whales, and occasionally bears. She loved animals of all kinds, but especially cows.

Jaclyn is survived by her daughter, Emma; mother, Natalie Kremer; brothers K.C. Kremer, Michael (Caitlin) Kremer, Steven Kremer and Sean Kremer; sisters Kierstyn (Russell) Howes, Mary (Chelsea) Robinson, Danica (Dylan) Redd, and Eden (Jace) George; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Kremer.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 27th at 11:00 AM at The McDougal Gathering Hall (4330 S. Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah).
