In loving memory of Jacquelyn Ross (September 11, 1965-March 24, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacquelyn, (Jacquie) Ross (60), born September 11, 1965, in Winnipeg. Jacquie passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on March 24,2026, at her home in Bedford.

Jacquie was pre-deceased by her much loved father John (Jack) Ross of Ajijic Mexico.

She is survived by her devoted and adoring wife, Mars (Marlene) Pankewich, her loving brother Kevin (Blendina) Glowe, her dear neices Kristen (Steven), Brianne, Blair and nephew Brad as well as her brother in law Don Pankewich along with many friends extended family members.

Anyone lucky enough to have known Jacquie will never forget her for her infectious laugh her wonderful sense of humour, and her sweet disposition.
She was beautiful, bright, funny and thoughtful. But mostly, Jacquie was compassionate, considerate and incredibly kind to everyone she ever met.

Jacquie spent her formative years in Halifax, where she began her education and career in the travel and aviation industry, ultimately leading her to Vancouver to finish her career at Air Canada. While in Vancouver, she met her future wife, Mars. Together, they traveled extensively, particularly enjoying frequent cruises.
Besides traveling, Jacquies' interests were baking, gardening, reading, writing (she was a published author), gaming, and, of course, taking care of her beloved cats. Rory and Riley.
After returning back to Bedford, Jacquie and Mars settled into retirement, spending cherished time with family and friends.

She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her radiant smile lit up the room and she put everyone at ease with her gentle demeanour.

She was selfless but resolute when she put her mind to something.
Tenacious and determined she pushed through many health issues over the past years without complaint.

In her final act of selfless kindness Jacquie chose to donate her body to Dalhousie Medical for research.

She will be missed and lovingly remembered by all that knew her

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
