Jaime Hodgins Davenport (1980-2026)
'Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal'
Known for her smile, laughter and kindness, Jaime Hodgins, 45, from New Hampshire, recently residing in Canton GA, died on January 5, 2026 after a brave battle with cancer. Jaime was the beloved daughter of Christopher Hodgins of Nashua NH and the late Marianne Cyr of Francestown NH.
She grew up in Merrimack NH where she made memories and lifelong friends; playing softball, hopscotch, red rover, sleepovers with no sleep, cheerleading, and riding bikes around the neighborhoods until the sun went down. She graduated from Merrimack High School before going on to start her own amazing family.
Jaime and Mark met at The Pericles in Manchester NH where they enjoyed getting to know each other over some fierce games of pool... who won?? They both did, as they have been inseparable since, enjoying their blended family as one over the last 15 wonderful years. They are the epitome of 'Don't wait for the perfect moment, take the moment and make it perfect".
Jaime was the glue, and the hostess with the most-est. She found joy in preparing meals and celebrating her family and children. Her famous fried chicken, mac n cheese, birthday cookie cakes and deviled eggs were among favorites and always requested! She loved to attend her children's sporting events; cheerleading, football, basketball, she was there wearing jersey numbers on her cheeks, dressed in team colors and cheering loud and proud! She, Mark and the kids loved to decorate for the Holidays, all of the Holidays... inside and out! She took pride and joy at being 'that house' that everyone stopped at to enjoy the décor. She loved most being a Nene to her Grandchildren, who brought the purest joy and laughter to her days. She loved to follow in her late mother's footsteps by bringing big love, laughter and silliness to any occasion.
She spent many years pouring out smiles and coffee at Dunkin Donuts in Manchester NH where she had so many regulars who loved her. She went on to work at Fratellos in Manchester NH, where she absolutely shined with her ability to organize, lead and take pride in their catering events.
There was certainly not enough time with her here on earth with us, but she leaves us the gift of having squeezed a lifetime of love into our lives and hearts while she was here with us. Jaime was welcoming, no one was a stranger... may Jaime's smile and energy inspire you to be kind, always, and in all ways.
Jaime is survived and missed by her husband, the absolute love of her life Mark Davenport, children Christopher Martin, Riley Martin, Breena Martin, Nick Young, Mariah Davenport, Allana Davenport, Brandon Davenport, Caleb Davenport and their families, forever remembered and cherished by her grandchildren; Grayson, Everleigh and Miggy, her father Christopher Hodgins and Step Mother Leni Hodgins, and siblings Jessica Brummer, Nicole Kullgren, Andrea Parker, Mija Stanley-Caggiula, and their families, and Kobe, their beloved family dog, who was always by her side and brought her great comfort.
Her memory will also live on with her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends who adored her, her family, and her joyful spirit.
A special thank you to her neighbors, and friends, Alesha and Roy, Darla, and Erica for all of your support in GA.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date to honor Jaime.
