James Eastis

James Paul Eastis, a lifelong resident of Mulga, Alabama, passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on October 1, 1952, in Mulga, James remained deeply rooted in the community that shaped his life.

James Paul shared 55 devoted years of marriage with his beloved wife Sandra. Together they built a strong and loving family that was the center of James Paul's world. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Jamie and her husband Craig, and his son James and his wife Lynn. His legacy continues through his grandchildren—Clay, Katie, Ryan, and Rebekah—and great-grandchildren Andrew, Ava, Caleb, Logan, Madison, and Axel. James Paul was preceded in death by his grandson Nicholas.


James Paul's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May his life be remembered with gratitude and his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing. A Memorial Service will be held on February 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Bayview Baptist Church 310 West Court
