James Eugene Foster, Jr., age 53, passed away on November 17, 2025, in Bullard, Texas. Born on January 1, 1972, in Seaford, Delaware, James lived a life marked by dedication to his work, deep love for his family, and a passion for the open road.

James began his career working at a landfill before transitioning into retail service. For over 14 years, he served customers at Walmart Supercenter with commitment and consistency. His professional journey culminated in achieving a long-held dream: becoming a CDL truck driver. For the past six months, he proudly drove for Steven's Transport as part of their Independent Contractor Division, leasing his own truck. This role brought him immense joy as it allowed him to travel while working—an experience that fulfilled both his adventurous spirit and professional aspirations. Though he missed his family during these travels, the road gave him a sense of freedom and purpose that he cherished deeply.

Outside of work, James found happiness in simple pleasures that brought people together. He was known for spending hours smoking or barbecuing on the grill for friends and family—moments filled with laughter and warmth. He especially treasured time spent with his son Ryan and took great pride in their bond. Another of James's favorite pastimes was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles; the thrill of the ride reflected his love for exploration and independence.

James is survived by his devoted wife Connie S. Jeffcoat Foster, together 7 years , married 3; his loving son Ryan Foster and daughter-in-law Joselynn Foster, his 4 step children, William Jeffcoat and family; Ashley Moore , her husband Kevin and family; Charles Rodriguez II , his wife Savanna and family; and Alanna Jeffcoat and her son; his mother Anna Davidson; brother Clarence Foster and wife Melissa along with their family; sister Jenna Foster and her family; Aunt Joan Stanley of Mississippi; Aunt Martha and Uncle Donald of Delaware; and his best friend Dan Stanwood. Each of them held a special place in James's heart.

He was preceded in death by his father James E. Foster, Sr., as well as uncles Steve, Harold, and Terry. He also mourned the loss of several aunts and uncles on his mother's side.

James will be remembered not only as an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend but also as someone whose legacy of love, kindness, integrity, and humor left an indelible mark on everyone he met. His presence brought light into many lives—a light that continues to shine through cherished memories.

"You may be gone from our sight," wrote his loving wife CJF, "but you are never gone from our hearts. We will never forget you—you gave us so much to remember. Until we meet again, my love... watch over us all."

A celebration of life service will be announced next week via Facebook.

May James Eugene Foster Jr.'s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
