James "Jim" R. Wolfe passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted Christian, Jim lived a life marked by faith, humility, service, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.

Jim spent his career serving with the Forest Service, where he took great pride in caring for the land and natural resources entrusted to him. His work reflected his deep respect for creation and his steady commitment to doing every task with integrity and excellence. He was known for his quiet strength, dependable nature, and thoughtful wisdom.

Outside of his profession, Jim found his greatest joy in his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to his beloved wife, Geraldine, and a steady, guiding presence to his three daughters, Katherine Lilly, Jessica Poling, and April Wolfe-Biedenbender. He was also a proud grandfather to six cherished grandchildren, who brought him immeasurable happiness and laughter.

Jim had a deep love for sailing and found peace on the water. Whether trimming sails or simply enjoying the breeze, he felt at home navigating open waters. Sailing reflected much of who he was—steady, patient, and confident even when the winds shifted.
