James McDevitt "Jim" Nagle, 87, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, in Ballwin, Missouri.
Born on December 19, 1937, in Youngstown, Ohio, Jim grew up with a strong sense of purpose. He attended Oakmont High School in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, and went on to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania in 1960.
Jim built a successful career in biomedical sales with PPG and Honeywell. His work took him across an extensive territory as he serviced hospitals with dedication and professionalism. Beyond his career achievements, Jim was known for his skill as a handyman—always ready to lend a hand with building projects for his church or friends. His creativity and craftsmanship were evident in the home he built at Lake of the Ozarks, where he found great joy being on the water.
A man of faith and service, Jim was actively involved in Covenant Church and Twin Oaks Church for many years. He sang in the choir, worked behind the scenes in the sound booth, participated in Bible studies, and contributed to numerous work projects. His commitment extended beyond the local community through participation in mission work. As part of deacon-led initiatives, he often helped others with house repairs and improvements—acts that reflected both his generous spirit and practical talents.
Jim had a love of activity. He loved boats and lakes and spent countless hours enjoying the water. Golf was another favorite pastime that brought him joy and camaraderie. He enjoyed time with men in the church, especially the Friday morning breakfast Bible studies. His special friends encouraged and prayed for him.
He is survived by his beloved wife Anne Adele Nagle; daughter Karen (Kevin) Baldwin; sons Robert (Ilia) Nagle and Jeffrey (Sandy) Nagle; grandchildren: Adam (Cynthia) Nagle, Kirah Nagle, Joseph Nagle, Alyssa (Michael) Curtis, Katherine (Andrew) Baldwin, Emily (Andrew) Mittlestaedt, Erin Baldwin, Joshua Calvin (Kaylyn) Nagle, Wesley Nagle, Bailey (Kaden) Tucker, and great-grandchildren: Levi Nagle, Lili Nagle, Zachary Curtis, Kaia Curtis, and Caleb Mittlestaedt.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Christian Nagle.
Jim's legacy lives on through the lives he touched. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
