James Clarence O’Connell

James C. O'Connell III-Southwick-

James C. O'Connell III, 58, of Southwick, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on March 18, 2026. Born on January 3, 1968, he joined his loving family through adoption on August 7, 1969, and was welcomed with great pride and joy by his parents.

Jimmy was raised in Wilbraham attending Minnechaug Regional High School, Class of 1986. He went on to become a talented interior subcontractor, known for his skill and dedication throughout the Western Massachusetts area.

He is survived by his mother, Marion Whiteside; his son, Daniel Pyzocha; his daughter, Alissa Lucia; and his grandchildren. He also leaves his sisters, Christine McElhatten and Wendy Charbonneau, and his brother, William O'Connell.

He was predeceased by his father, James C. O'Connell Jr., and his eldest son, Michael J. O'Connell.

Services for Jimmy will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 361 Sumner Avenue, Springfield, on Friday, April 10, at 11:00 a.m.
