James Thomas Parham, Jr., 65, affectionately known as Jamey, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, in Prattville, Alabama. Born on April 17, 1960, in Montgomery, Alabama, Jamey lived a life filled with love for his family and a passion for his work and hobbies.
Jamey was the beloved son of Gail Garner and the late James Parham. He is survived by his cherished children, Ashley Parham and James Parham, III; his loving sisters, Lisa Lander and Holli Lopez; his adored grandchildren, Konnor Parham, Shiloh Davis, and Thomas Parham; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, James Parham, and his brother, Terry Parham.
In his younger years, Jamey was a talented mechanical engineer and a successful business owner. His professional accomplishments reflected his dedication and skill in his field. Beyond his career achievements, Jamey had a larger-than-life presence that left an indelible mark on those who knew him.
Jamey found great joy in cooking and preparing meals for family and friends. His culinary creations were always delicious and brought people together around the table. His love for food mirrored his love for life—rich, flavorful, and shared with those he cared about most.
Above all else, Jamey loved his family deeply. His warmth and devotion will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
