Born on September 6, 1975, in Dallas, Texas, James lived a life marked by dedication to his craft and a deep connection to those around him. A skilled welder by trade, James worked at VIP International and a shipyard, where he applied his talents with precision and pride. His work reflected not only technical expertise but also a strong work ethic that earned the respect of colleagues and peers. James had a wide range of interests that brought joy to his life and those who knew him. He had a deep love for music and could often be found enjoying his favorite tunes or watching movies. A passionate student of history, he enjoyed learning about the past and sharing insights with others. He also had a knack for building and repairing electric bikes—a hobby that combined his mechanical skills with creativity and innovation. Family was central to James's life. He was known for always being there when needed—steadfast in support and generous with his time. His presence brought comfort and strength to those around him. He is lovingly remembered by his father, Samuel David Rabb; grandmother, Bobbie Lou Rabb; uncle, Michael Wayne Rabb; half-brothers Jeff A. Newburn and Greg P. Newburn; stepfather David A. Newburn; and stepbrother David M. Newburn. James was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Elaine Newburn; grandfather Carlos David Rabb; and uncle Richard Lee Rabb.
