Janelle Hinkle Coyle, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in Burleson, Texas. Born on July 23, 1945, in Burkburnett, Texas, she grew up on a farm and was a proud graduate of Burburnett High School. Janelle lived a life marked by deep faith, unwavering love for her family, and a heart that welcomed everyone she met.

As a graduate of Howard Payne University, Janelle earned her degree in Education and carried her passion for learning and teaching into every aspect of her life. Whether in the classroom or among friends and family, she had a gift for making others feel seen, heard, and valued.

Janelle was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 23 years, Fred Coyle. She is also survived by her oldest son Jay Rudd and his wife Rebekkah, along with their son Jordan, daughter Railey and son Brendan and his wife Myka, and their son Easton; her middle son Billy Rudd and his wife Stephanie , with their children Fisher and Katelyn; and her youngest son Justin Rudd and his wife Bethany, along with their children Noah, Molly, Hattie, and Mallory. She also cherished her bonus families of John and Cheri Coyle and their children and Rusty and Christy Cudd and their daughter.

Janelle’s life was deeply rooted in faith. She found spiritual nourishment and community through worship at several churches in the Burleson area including Crestmont Baptist Church, Open Door Church, and Pathway Church. Her commitment to attending church services and Bible studies reflected the central role that faith played in shaping who she was as a woman whose kindness radiated from a heart devoted to God.

She delighted in traveling with friends and family, cheering on her favorite sports teams, sharing laughter over meals or coffee with those close to her heart, and simply being present for the people she loved. She loved water skiing and being at the lake with family and friends. Janelle never met a stranger—her warmth made everyone feel instantly welcome. Her generosity of spirit left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path.

Janelle was preceded in death by her parents JC and Marie Hinkle as well as her brothers Richard Hinkle and Howard Hinkle.

Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched with compassion, grace, humor, and unwavering love. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 30, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Open Door Church 301 S. Dobson St. Celebration of Life will immediately be followed by a time for visitation, fellowship and lunch.
