Janet Marie Rieger

Janet Marie Rieger passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born on August 16, 1946. Her life was one marked by care, creativity, and a deep commitment to helping others.

Throughout her remarkable journey, Janet served many roles as a person -- teacher, nurse, artist, hospice volunteer, community activist, award-winning educator, bridge club enthusiast.

But those who knew her would tell you that the most cherished roles of all were those of mother, sister, daughter, friend, and mentor. Her presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Janet leaves behind a loving daughter, as well as brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her kindness and wisdom. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
