Janette Gatherum Jeppesen was born on January 16, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Stanley Gatherum and Lois Scheller Gatherum. On December 17, 2025, Janette reunited with her beloved parents, her sister Ann, and her brothers Verl and Ralph.

She graduated from East High School and later married Jack Jeppesen. Together they shared many years of partnership and adventure while raising their two beautiful children, LaMont and Susan.

Janette lived a life filled with purpose, adventure, and devotion to her family. She helped run several family businesses over the years, creating countless memories while traveling the world with her children. She found joy in tending her garden, planting new flowers each spring, and keeping her yard a place of beauty and peace.

Of all her accomplishments, Janette’s greatest pride and joy was being a mother to her two children, LaMont and Susan. She cherished her role as a grandmother to her seven grandchildren and as a great‑grandmother to sixteen great‑grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world.
