Janette "Missy" Tate Friend, born May 4, 1942 in Granbury, Texas, passed away on December 2, 2025. She was forever proud of her Texas roots and loved her family and friends deeply.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Worley; her son, Mike Markwood, and his wife, Nancy; grandchildren Lyndsie Worley, Lauren Worley (Adam), and Jessica Markwood; and her sisters, Rosemary Linn and Noreen Singleton.
She was a devoted mother and later thrived in varied career paths, always leading with love, empathy, and determination.
A life well-loved and well lived. A celebration of life is planned for a later date with family and friends.
