Janice Helen Heath, aged 73, passed away after a hard-fought battle in the ICU with pneumonia and the flu on November 28, 2025. Though she resided briefly in West Roxbury, Janice spent most of her later life in Canton, MA.

Born to Robert Henry Heath and Effie Chidester Heath, both deceased. She leaves behind her beloved daughter Anjuli Natalio, son-in-law Joshua Tremble, and her treasured grandchildren, Zinnia and Audrick Tremble, who were the light of her life and the greatest joy of her later years.

Janice's profession was her calling. A dedicated labor and delivery R.N., she served as a charge nurse on the bustling L&D unit at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Her steady presence, skillful hands, and warm spirit comforted countless families as she helped bring new life into the world with her gentle reassurance. After retiring, she continued this passion by serving as a doula, supporting close friends and new mothers with the same generosity and heart that guided her throughout her career.

She was kind and caring, making everyone she met feel welcome. Almost as important to her as babies, family and friends were her animals. She had many over the years and loved each dearly. Her favorite things to do were adventure-fueled. Whether that was finding a beautiful garden, traveling to different places (across the U.S., Italy, Spain, Norway), seeing a movie with a friend, spending a quiet afternoon on the couch cuddling her grandkids, or visiting a quaint antique store (she loved her knick-knacks!). She collected many things, but none more than fairies, angels and dragons. She was an avid book reader, who especially loved fantasy novels. Most importantly, she was generous with her time and heart.

Warm, funny, and spirited, Janice made friends easily and left lasting impressions wherever she went. Even when time passed without contact, they never stopped holding her close in their hearts. She was fiercely devoted to her daughter, Anjuli. They shared a bond that will never be broken. She loved all babies, but none more than Zinnia and Audrick, with whom she joyfully spent countless hours spoiling without end and would drop anything at a moment's notice to care for. She was the perfect Nana - a constant presence in their lives.

She will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to know her or hear her welcoming chuckle.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Henry J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 56 Washington Street, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481. Visitation will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., including a service to remember her life at 6 o'clock, with an optional reception to follow.
