Janice Kay (Lowther) Isbell

Janice Kaye Isbell, 66, of La Quinta, California, passed away on March 1, 2026, following a brief illness. Born on November 16, 1959, at Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio, Janice lived a life defined by her boundless energy, fierce devotion, and a wicked sense of humor that could light up any room she entered.

Janice was a woman of remarkable drive and ambition. She earned her RN license and later her real estate license, bringing the same passion and determination to everything she pursued. Alongside her husband, Phil R. Isbell, Jr., she built several successful businesses, a testament to their partnership and shared vision. No matter how busy life became, Janice always put her family first. She was an incredibly devoted mother to her three children: Joshua and his wife Katie, Jacklyn, known lovingly as Jax, and Jordan known as Ty.

Vibrant and strong, Janice embraced life fully. She was an avid runner who found joy in her garden and poured her generous heart into the causes she cared about most, including dog rescue and breast cancer charities. She had a gift for making people feel seen and welcomed, and her presence left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

In addition to her husband Phil and her children, Janice is survived by a her mother Margaret Lowther (OH), sisters in AZ Joan (Joel), Joy, brother JR (Tammy) & Julia (John) in OH. She proceeded in death by brother-in-law Mike Everson (AZ) and beloved father Jack Lowther (OH). A wide circle of family and friends who will carry her memory forward with love and laughter.

A private family service will be held in her honor.
