Jared N. Laskin June 22, 1982 - March 16, 2025

It is with immense sorrow that we must share that Jared Laskin, a vibrant and loving member of the Laskin family, was taken from us suddenly. Jared was a remarkable and caring man, strong and kind, bright and perceptive, a proud and honorable man willing to fight, defend and protect what he believed in, and always there ready to help his family and friends. Jared was the beloved son of Dr. Steven and Susan Laskin, a devoted brother to his sister Shira Laskin, an adoring Uncle to his two nephews, cherished grandson of Milton and Bess Levine and Sidney and Laura Laskin, and a loving nephew and cousin to our wonderful family.

Jared grew up in River Vale NJ, and graduated from Pascack Valley High School, where he made lifelong friends, many of them from his band, The Superspecs, which toured and recorded. He then graduated with a degree in Business and Marketing from Syracuse University.

Jared was gifted in so many ways, as a talented and creative musician (music was in his soul), a builder who enjoyed purchasing and then creatively renovating houses, an insightful Realtor, and an astute and successful businessman. He was ethical, perceptive, and creative in his approach to business and life. He also had a sparkle in his eye, and his presence brought joy and brightened the lives of those who knew and loved him.

He was a devoted and loving son, grandson, brother and an adoring uncle. He was always there for his family, for the many happy and sometimes difficult times we all shared, and had a smile that lit up the room. He lovingly stood by his father during his long and difficult illness, finding ways to bring happiness to him, always available in times of need to be there for support and help. He shared many wonderful holidays and celebrations with his cousins, Aunts and Uncles, and enjoyed preparing amazing culinary delights for family and friends, and had a wonderful circle of lifelong friends. And he loved our puppies dearly, and was their favorite person.

Jared, you are missed beyond words, and life without you and your bright presence will never be the same. You are adored by your family and friends. We will hold you in our hearts forever.

The family and close friends held a graveside service at Cedar Park in Paramus, NJ.
