Jason Rowe, aged 42, passed away on February 2, 2026, in Houston, TX. Born on June 24, 1983, Jason was a passionate community servant and dedicated his life to service and justice, whether in Texas, or wherever needed.

Jason grew up in Wichita, KS, before coming to Texas, "God's Country", to attend Texas A&M University. He moved to Houston in 2005 when he met and married Christine, and finished his undergraduate at Houston Baptist University. He later earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he was elected President of the Student Bar Association, and also spent a summer taking a class from Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on the island of Malta.

He spent much time traveling abroad, arriving in Cairo on the day of the second round of their Presidential elections, as the Muslim brotherhood took over. He was also deeply affected by his time in Ukraine, where he volunteered delivering medical supplies shortly after Russia's invasion, and providing assistance as possible since then.

He loved helping people anywhere, and believed the most complete view of God was visible when you could see slivers of God's reflection in people and cultures around the world. He deeply loved the friends he would make anywhere, especially including those here in Houston.

Though Jason had no formal military associations, his life was marked by a spirit of service that sought to mirrored the highest ideals of such affiliations. He was most fulfilled when serving others, whether in his business, in fighting for justice, or in community efforts locally and abroad.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Rowe. He is survived by his family, whom he loved and adored above all else. His love of God, dedication to his friends and family, and his passion for helping others will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He sought to live with a simple principle, "Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God." He was abundantly grateful for the life he was gifted, and considered it made abundantly full by the friends and family who blessed his life with memories along the way.

A small and private remembrance will be held for the family at a later date.
