Jean "Jeannie" Hall, 61, passed away on November 23, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Born on December 1, 1963, in Joliet, Illinois, Jeannie brought light and energy to every place she called home.
A dedicated and hardworking individual, Jeannie built a career as a pool technician—a field in which she not only excelled but also made her mark by founding her own business, Genie Enterprises. Her entrepreneurial spirit and determination were evident in every job she undertook, earning the respect and admiration of clients and peers alike.
Jeannie's life was deeply rooted in love for her family and friends. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Holbrook; her sister, Maggie Sullivan; her son, Lars Duvore; Lulu, her well-loved Chihuahua and her cousin, Sandi Guy. She also leaves behind numerous close friends who she considered family—Faith, Rod, Rob, Rachel, Demoya, Laura and so many others —as well as the compassionate caregivers at the Savoy Nursing Center who became an extension of her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Hall; her grandmothers Mary G. Hall and Mildred Holbrook; and her grandfather Ray Holbrook along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
Outside of work and relationships, Jeannie found joy in nature. She lovingly tended to her yard, transforming it into a butterfly sanctuary—a peaceful haven that reflected her nurturing spirit and vibrant soul.
Jeannie was a spark of life—radiant, unforgettable, and cherished by many. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she run free among the butterflies for all eternity.
