Jean Barbara Lessard

Jean Barbara Lessard passed peacefully in the early morning hours of March 24, 2026 at Clayton Oaks Senior Living in Richmond, Texas. She was formerly of Irving Texas and Berkeley Heights New Jersey.
Jean was born to John G. and Helen (Nesbitt) Taylor on October 20, 1937 in Chicago Illinois. While in high school and working at the lunch counter in Walgreens she met the love of her life Richard (Dick) Lessard. They were united in marriage on June 27, 1957.
Employment took them around the country where they raised their sons and made life long friends. Eventually settling in Irving where they spent nearly 30 years.
Jean was a friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and coworkers. She loved cooking, baking, making candy and sharing it with everyone. If she wasn't visiting or shopping you would find her in the yard working with her flowers. On your special day you would always see a card in the mail from Jean.
Waiting for her on her journey to heaven are her husband of 65 years, Dick, sons Rick and Mike, parents, sister June Trafficanti, brother Lloyd Taylor along with many extended family and friends.
Left behind to cherish her memories son Ron (Stacy), Grandsons, Nick (Kelli), Matt (Hillary) and great grandson Parker, brothers Paul and John (Kathy) Taylor, special nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
