Jean Carol Towery, 87, of Crestview, Florida, passed away peacefully during the night of December 23. Born on September 20, 1938, in Middle Island, New York, Jean lived a long and meaningful life rooted in love, family, and quiet strength.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Edward Faron; her mother, Elsie Emma Faron; and her brothers, Samuel and Robert Faron.
Jean is survived by her sisters, Elsie Periko and Joyce McDonald (Frank); her husband of 66 years, Carl Davis Towery; and her sons, Clay Towery (Lynn) and Glen Towery (Mindy). She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.
Jean had a lifelong passion for quilting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and cooking. Her hands were rarely still, and the beautiful pieces she created over the years became treasured gifts for family and friends. Through her craftwork, she stitched love into every quilt, garment, and design, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and creativity.
