Jeffery Langmead

Jeffery Langmead, 90, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, in Frisco, Texas. Born on May 31, 1935, in London, he lived a full and vibrant life marked by professional success, personal devotion, and a deep love for family and community.

Jeffery built a distinguished career with Blue Cross Blue Shield, where his dedication and leadership left a lasting impact over many years. His work ethic and commitment to excellence earned him the respect of colleagues and peers alike.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jeffery was known for his passion for tennis and golf. An avid player throughout much of his life, he found joy and camaraderie on the courts and fairways. He also cherished social activities that brought people together—his warmth and good humor made him a welcome presence in any gathering.

Above all else, Jeffery was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife Margaret Langmead; his son Jason Langmead; his daughters Janet Hymans and Heather Alyce; and four grandchildren: Jacob Langmead, Ethan Hymans, Caitlin Hymans, and Lillianna Hymans; nieces: Tiffany Orsburn, Taliea Wright Paulsen and Amanda Hewitt; nephew: Colin Orsburn; great granddaughter: Palmer Ruth Ward. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness.

Jeffery's legacy is one of kindness, integrity, and enduring love. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
