Dr. Jeffrey Dale Adkins Sr., age 67, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on December 6, 2025 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Jeffrey was born on August 2, 1958 in West Virginia and moved to Florida as a young child. He attended Colonial High School, Florida Technological University and Life Chiropractic College. After which he opened "Adkins Chiropratic Clinic" in 1981. His brothers Fred Jr and David joined the practice a year later.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother whose life was defined by love, dedication, and quiet strength. Known for his intelligence, compassion, and steady presence, he touched the lives of many through both his professional calling as a Chiropractor and his personal relationships. Above all else, Jeffrey treasured time with his family and took great pride in being a loving husband, a supportive father, and a joyful grandpa to his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick L. Adkins Sr., and his brother, Frederick L. Adkins Jr. He is survived by his mother, Jo-Ann Adkins; his beloved wife of 47 years, Karen L. Adkins; his son, Jeffrey D. Adkins Jr. (Allison); his brother, David A. Adkins (Sheri); and his cherished granddaughters, Taylor and Kinley, who brought him immense happiness.
Jeffrey will be remembered for his warmth, his thoughtful nature, and the unwavering love he had for those closest to him. His legacy lives on through his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. EST in the main sanctuary at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Orlando. Reception to follow in the Family Life Center.
