On December 1, 2025, Jeffery Paul Tarin Garcia of Rancho Cucamonga, California went to be with the Lord, and it is with deep sorrow and immense love that we mourn his unexpected passing.

Jeff was born on June 26, 1983, in Pomona, California to Edward and Mary Lou Garcia. After graduating from Alta Loma High School, he proceeded to work at Dawn Foods for a brief time and then moved on to UPS, where he spent the last 12 years, gaining many special friends along the way and forming meaningful connections with the people he delivered to, who truly cared for him.

As a lifelong athlete and an avid sports fan, Jeff's true passion was baseball. He began playing with his father on the Blue Jays and was part of the first junior team to excel, reaching the state championship and representing Southern California in Arizona. As his playing career came to an end, his second passion—coaching—took center stage. He coached multiple teams, including the Pomona Titans, leading them to championship victories across the state of California. He found great joy in teaching children the fundamentals of the game, fostering a love for sports, and instilling values of teamwork and good sportsmanship. His presence on the field, whether hitting grounders or cheering from the sidelines, will be missed by countless players and families in the community.

A die-hard fan, Jeff's heart belonged to his favorite teams: the New York Yankees, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Los Angeles Lakers. He was a man with a mission and had a cherished dream of visiting all Major League Baseball stadiums —a journey he began with his older brother, Eric, to fulfill their father's wish of seeing all 32 ballparks.

Above all, Jeff was a devoted family man. His presence would light up the room whenever he would enter, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, whether at a game, a family gathering, or at the river. He was a loving son, brother, Tio, cousin, Nino and friend who always put his family first.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Garcia, and his siblings, Edward, Eric and Jennifer Garcia. He is also lovingly remembered by his 6 nephews, 6 nieces, 5 great-nephews, 4 great-nieces, 8 Godchildren and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Tarin Garcia and his grandmother, Lupe Gallegos.

As we say goodbye, we hold close the memories, the laughter, and the love Jeff shared so freely with all of us. His kindness, his passion for life, and his unwavering devotion to family will continue to guide us in the days ahead. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him. May we honor his legacy by loving one another the way he loved us. Rest peacefully, Jeff, until we meet again.
