Jeffrey Kennedy, 40, passed away on December 18, 2025, in Huntsville, Alabama. Born in San Bernardino County on November 14, 1985, Jeff lived a life marked by service, strength, and a deep regard for the people and places that shaped him.

After high school, Jeff proudly served his country as a Navy Corpsman attached to the USNS Mercy. His time in the military took him across the globe, where he provided medical aid to those in need. This chapter of his life reflected both his courage and compassion—qualities that defined him even when he tried to hide them behind a tough exterior. Before his death, Jeff had recently graduated from Correction Officer training in Selma, AL.

He had a kind heart and was known for encouraging others with an uplifting perspective when they needed it. Though he often referred to himself as a self-proclaimed "asshole," those who knew him understood this was part of his humor and charm. Beneath that facade was someone who genuinely wanted the best for the people he loved. And for himself, he was always striving for that "perfect love" to share with someone, the kind that lasts a lifetime.

Jeff found joy in simple pleasures—he loved going to the gym, drinking water and energy drinks, and spending time at the beach. Yet no place held more meaning for him than Tetonia, Idaho. It was there, during many cherished summers with his grandparents James and Mary Lou Bush, that he felt most at peace. Their memory remained close to his heart throughout his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his mothers, Rena Florez and Sharon Thomas; his sisters, Staci Ramos, Lindsay Blakely, and Caitlyn Baker; and his brother, Destin Patterson. Nieces, Grace and Ava Blakely; and nephew Jacob Blakely, and by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. The legacy of love and laughter he shared with them will endure.

May Jeff's memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a reminder of a life lived with strength, humor, and heart.
