Jeffrey H. Lane

Jeffrey H. Lane, 78, of East Hartford, CT, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026.

As an avid biker, sailor, and faithful friend to all, he chose to believe the best of everyone. It was his conscious and purposeful decision to always choose the most kind and gentle path. He was a true Peacemaker.

Jeff dedicated his life to the care and service of others, especially his elderly aunts, uncles, and parents. For decades, his family depended upon his service, oversight, financial management, companionship, and devotion to their well-being. When his responsibilities ended in 2018, he and his wife moved to Florida.

Jeff leaves behind his devoted wife, Christine, family, and friends.

Private services will take place in Connecticut in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you – on purpose – carry out an act of kindness in his name.
