Jeffrey H. Lewis

Jeffrey H. Lewis, 77, died at home in Blanca, CO on December 20, 2025. Jeffrey was the loving brother of Cynthia Lewis (Thomas Swiss), uncle of Jacob Swiss (Susan Tai) and Alley Swiss (Phoebe), and great-uncle of a niece and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Rose and Max Lewis, and his sister, Roberta Lewis (Jordan Lome). Jeffrey was a kind soul who loved living in the valley at the base of Blanca Peak where he could sometimes see free-roaming horses from his front yard. He found peace in the silence of his cabin, in daily meditation, and in being close to nature. Jeffrey formerly lived in Skokie, IL and at Kashi Ashram in Sebastian, FL, where he studied with his spiritual teacher. A private gathering will be held to celebrate his life.
