Jeffrey A. Salter
January 14, 1969 - February 14, 2026
Jeffrey Arno Salter, a larger-than-life presence in Central New Jersey known for his leadership, quick wit, and deep loyalty to the people he loved, passed away unexpectedly from a sudden cardiac event on February 14, 2026. He was 57.
Born January 14, 1969, Jeff grew up in South Brunswick and proudly graduated from South Brunswick High School. His connection to the town and his school never faded. After graduating, he returned to the baseball field as a coach, giving back to the same program that helped shape him. To the young players he coached, Jeff was more than a voice in the dugout. He was a mentor who pushed them to work harder, carry themselves with confidence, and believe in their potential both on and off the field.
Jeff's work ethic was forged early, working side by side with his father at the family gas station. Those years taught him the value of loyalty, grit, and straight talk. People trusted Jeff because he meant what he said and stood by it.
He later found his stride in the nightclub and entertainment industry, where his personality and instincts made him a natural. Over the years, Jeff became a well-known consultant and manager throughout New Jersey's nightlife scene. He had a rare ability to read a room, connect with people, and keep things running smoothly. Friends and colleagues often said there was no one quite like Jeff when it came to bringing energy, order, and life to a place.
But to those closest to him, Jeff's greatest role was simply being there. He was fiercely devoted to his family and friends, the kind of person who could always be counted on. Whether as a son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew or lifelong friend, Jeff's loyalty, humor, and generosity left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Arno Harry Salter, who passed away seven years ago. He is survived by his beloved mother, Joan A. Salter; his brothers, Paul Salter and David Salter; his nephews, Adrian, Alex, and Domenic Salter; his niece, Lola Salter; his aunt, C. Marie Rodriguez; his cousin, Derek Vazquez; and his sister-in-law, Angela Salter. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the many friendships he built over a lifetime.
In accordance with Jeff's wishes, he will be cremated.
The family invites all who knew and loved Jeff to celebrate his life on Sunday, March 8, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Casa Bella Clubhouse, 15855 Glencrest Avenue, Delray Beach. Friends are encouraged to come ready to share stories and memories as they honor a life lived fully and generously.
A Celebration of Life will also be held in New Jersey, the date to be announced.
