Jennifer Dana Perry passed away peacefully at her home in Sherman Oaks, California on Thursday, February 12, 2026. She was 67 years old and had recently been diagnosed with cancer. Jennifer led a vibrant and adventurous life. She was kind and she was smart. An avid reader and student of her surroundings, she also had a fierce sense of humor and always found the fun or funny in any situation. She had a hearty laugh, and she was more than willing to laugh at herself. She was a good listener and a generous, caring relative and colleague.

Born in Chicago, Illinois on August 24, 1958, Jennifer was the youngest child and only daughter of Arnold Perry and Merel Cayne. The family moved to New York in 1965 but Jennifer ultimately chose the west coast as her forever home, settling in Los Angeles and building her life there. She was a real California girl. She loved the weather and the vibe and she embodied the warmth and brightness of her adopted home.

Jennifer's life was - as the kids would say - epic. She traveled the world and followed her passions, chief amongst them an innate love and talent for music. She was a beloved and respected fixture in the industry for decades. She was the house agent at the Troubadour in the 1980's, bringing in many legendary artists to the iconic venue. She was an agent at Tapestry Artists and a senior booker of heavy metal at Avalon Attractions for years. She managed Leatherwolf, supported Guns and Roses, Poison and Warrant in their infancy, promoted Metallica at many venues and was a co-creator and tour manager for numerous Ozzfests.

And yet, despite this world of flash and fame, Jennifer was as humble and undemanding as they come. With the one possible exception being her desire for a full Thanksgiving meal multiple times a year. But she was never happier than at home or at the dog park with her four-legged friends or volunteering at the women's shelter where she gave her time and energy to help those who benefited greatly from her guidance, wisdom, and comfort.

Above all, Jennifer was a friend to many and a beautiful one. She gave deeply to these relationships without asking for anything in return. She will be missed by so many.

Jennifer is survived by her two brothers (David Perry and Richard Perry), her two sisters-in-law (Lisa Perry and Laura Perry), her two nieces (Samantha Perry David and Amanda Perry) and her three nephews (David Perry, Cameron Perry and William Perry).

She also leaves behind her three dogs (Charlotte, Jackson and Sadie) as well as her many long-term friends.

May her memory be a blessing.
