Jennifer Rose Small (née Lipinski), 36, of Millis, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born on September 27, 1989, in Stoughton, Massachusetts, Jennifer was raised in Hanson, where she cultivated the vibrant, creative, and compassionate spirit that defined her life.
A proud graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, class of 2008, she continued her education at UMass Dartmouth, earning her bachelor’s degree in 2013. Jennifer built a dedicated career as a Payroll Specialist at Liberty Construction in Boston, where her reliability, attention to detail, and warm spirit earned the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
Jennifer will be deeply remembered for her quick wit, culinary skills, love of travel, and endless creativity. She found great joy in cooking and baking, often bringing people together through the meals and treats she lovingly prepared. She also cherished traveling and creating lasting memories exploring new places with those she loved. A naturally gifted artist, she enjoyed paint nights, drawing, and creating countless personalized projects with her Cricut, generously sharing her talents with family and friends. Her laughter and vibrant energy could light up any room, and her presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jennifer is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen Small of Millis; her parents, Stephen and Andrea Lipinski of Hanson; her brothers Zachary Lipinski and his fiancé Charisse White of Tolleson, Arizona, and John Lipinski of Middleboro; and her sister Kathleen Doyle and her husband Brian Doyle of Hanson. She was a devoted aunt to her niece Ellie Lipinski and nephews Gavin Lipinski, Kellan Lipinski, and Jase Weingart—roles that brought her immense joy. Jennifer is also survived by many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever treasure the special place she held in their lives.
A wake will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1:00–4:00 PM at The Grand Chateau Owl, located at 4 Mansfield Avenue in Norton, Massachusetts. A celebration of life will follow from 4:00–6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jennifer’s memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
