Jeremiah Makai Scott was born on September 21, 2013, at Rush Hospital to Marzilla Randolph and Johnnie D. Scott Sr. Jeremiah was a happy and carefree child. Jeremiah attended the Charter School of the Dunes,. It was there that he discovered his love for the arts, including music, drama, and acting. He also developed a passion for soccer. Jeremiah was bright, intelligent, and deeply thoughtful. Jeremiah dreamed of one day becoming an aerospace engineer. He enjoyed studying different cultures, languages, and dinosaurs. Jeremiah was a special soul beyond words. Jeremiah is survived by his mother, Marzilla T. Randolph; his father, Johnnie D. Scott Sr.; one brother, Johnnie D. Scott Jr.; two sisters, Lillie and Geneva Scott; two grandmothers, Brenda Randolph-Brooks (Willie) and Stephanie Scott; two grandfathers, Johnnie Duke and Jessie Randolph Jr. (Pearlie); one great-grandmother, Gladys William; one great-great-grandmother, Annie L. Williams; eight uncles; three aunts; and a host of other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
