Jerome F. Rosenacker, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died in McCormick, South Carolina, on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, at the age of 72. He was the loving husband and best friend of Nancy A. Rosenacker (Frazier). He was a devoted stepfather to Anthony (Kelsey) Frederick, Elizabeth (Rick) Fullarton, and Alexandra Frederick, and a proud father to Justin, Jared, and Jordan Rosenacker. Known affectionately as "Gramps," Jerry adored his grandchildren, Elliot, Kara, William, and Cole.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Vera Rosenacker, and is survived by his dear sister, Mary McDowell, along with other siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Jerry was a caring and dedicated funeral director for more than 40 years, most recently serving as the owner of Rebold Rosenacker and Sexton Funeral Home in Cheviot, Ohio. He was deeply involved in the Monfort Heights community and St. Ignatius Parish.
He was a founding member of the legendary "Barn Group," a close-knit group of friends from LaSalle High School, including Dave Bass, John Binder, Bill Breetz, Paul Frey, Steve Hasselbeck, John Kenneth Hautman, Dan Korfhagen, Ted Kunkel, Mike Meyer, Gene Nusekabel, Mike O'Donnell, Tim Oliverio, Art Ranz, Tony Rosiello, Don Ruberg, and Dave Smith. They remain friends and frequently get together to this day.
Jerry was a gracious host, loyal friend, and the kind of neighbor everyone hopes to have. He always had the right tool for the job and was always up for a game of Euchre or a round of golf. Jerry and Nancy were known for their Halloween parties, held each year to celebrate their anniversary. While there will be no formal services, a party to celebrate Jerry's fun and memorable life will be held at a future date.
Jerry out.
