Jesse Laureles

Jesse Ramirez Laureles, 73, of Lubbock,Texas, passed away on February 23, 2026. Born on May 10, 1952, in Pecos, Texas, to the late Luis Laureles and Ynasia Ramirez, Jesse was a lifelong Texan whose life was defined by the rhythm of the land and a quiet, enduring work ethic.

For decades, Jesse was a fixture in the agricultural community of West Texas. As a dedicated farm laborer, he contributed to the local harvests with a strength and persistence that many admired. Those who worked alongside him will remember his commitment to the soil and the steady reliability he brought to his trade every day.

He is survived by his children: Eve Rodriguez of Waco; Celestine Suarez of Waco; Adam Laureles of Brownfield; and April Laureles of Pleasanton. He also leaves behind a legacy within his extended family and the community he served.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, San Juana Honesto and Lupe Lopez.

Though his journey was not without its trials, Jesse's family finds comfort in knowing his labor is finished and he is at peace. A memorial to honor his life and hard work will be held at a later date.
