Jessie Q. Caldwell, lovingly known as "Grandmama," passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, in Sacramento, California, just one week shy of her 101st birthday. Born Jessie Quintana on March 4, 1925, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she lived a long and remarkable life filled with love, resilience, and unwavering faith.

Jessie's life was a testament to quiet strength and grace. She faced life's challenges with remarkable positivity and consistently chose joy. Her kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She loved fiercely and was deeply cherished in return.

Jessie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald, with whom she shared many years of love and partnership. She was also predeceased by her siblings Jenny, Mary, Ray, and Connie. Her memory lives on through her devoted family: her daughters Dawn and Crystal (Gregory); her grandchildren Emily (Tanner), Brian (Jennifer), Lynnzee, and Robyn (Corbin); and her treasured great-grandchildren Emma, Adelina, and Isabel.

Her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Jessie will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the light she brought into the world.
