Jesus Martinez Carranco

Jesus Martinez Carranco was born December 2, 1942 in Sacramento, California, he passed in his home on November 22, 2025, at the age of 82.

Jesus is survived by Juanita, his wife of 61+ years, and his 3 children: Theresa Cardona (Phil), Benjamin Carranco (Rosemary), and Xavier Carranco (Peggy). He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 sisters.

Jesus worked for 40+ years as a union warehouseman for multiple companies including Sacramento Bag Company, ESCO Foods, Clark Foods, and Farmers Rice CO-OP. Upon retirement Jesus became a community leader with the Gardenland Northgate Neighborhood Association.

Jesus was a lifetime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic minister and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He spent the last several years caring for his loving wife, Juanita.

Services for Jesus will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM, St. Mary's Cemetery and Funeral Center, 6509 Fruitridge Road, in Sacramento. A mass will held in the chapel, followed by burial services at his final resting place. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the burial at St. Joseph's Parish Hall, 1717 El Monte Avenue, Sacramento.
