Joan C. McNamara

With heavy hearts the family of Joan C. McNamara, 83, of Point Pleasant Beach, announces her peaceful passing on December 8th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Jersey City, NJ on October 29th, 1942, Joan was a devoted wife to the late James McNamara, and a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the heart of our family and a constant source of endless strength and laughter. She dedicated her life to her children James and Jessica McNamara, Doreen and Michael Pavlick, Debra and Todd Noon, and Dawn McNamara as well as her grandchildren Caitlin and Devon Piersol, Taylor and Brendan Sibson, Kaylee McNamara, Kyra McNamara, Georgia Noon, Samantha Pavlick, Leah McNamara and her great-grandchild Kenna Sibson. We will forever miss her bright smile and comforting presence. Her legacy of laughter, love and faith will continue to inspire us. Services will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ at 10:00 AM on Saturday December 13th. A repass will follow at the Lobster Shanty on Channel Drive in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her name.
