Joe was born in Lincoln CA on February 9, 1933 to parents, John and Pauline Frausto. Joe was pre-deceased by his parents and 13 of his 14 siblings, and with his sister, Carol now the only surviving sibling.
Joe attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1951 and enjoyed playing on the basketball team. Soon after, Joe started working as a Warehouse worker and eventually as a truck driver and Beer Distributor for Superior Beverage Company, where he retired in 1994 at the age of 62 after serving 40 years. He was known throughout his community as "Bergie Joe".
Joe's passion was hunting, fishing and camping throughout Northern California and in various states, where he spent a lot of time with his family and friends.
Joe married Linda Williams in 1999 and celebrated their 27th anniversary on January 30th, just 2 days before his passing. Joe had three children, John Frausto, (Spouse Jill), Diane Frausto, Frank Frausto (Spouse Adele) and Linda's son Bruce, (Spouse Kelly). Together they had 7 Grandchildren and 6 Greatgrandchildren. Joe enjoyed watching his kids, grandkids and great grandkids play in various sports. Joe loved his family as they also loved him.
Joe also, enjoyed attending the home Yuba College Basketball games and was a familiar face in the crowd to many for several years.
