John J Brashi

John Brashi (82) passed away peacefully at home from Mantle Cell Lymphoma; He was a Mail Carrier for the Madison Post office for over 30 years. He proudly served as Sergeant First Class for the US Army and Army reserves for over 20 years receiving many honors and achievements. He loved fishing,camping, cookouts and spending time with family and friends. Proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed teaching his grandkids to drive and watching them play soccer. He loved all sweets, especially good chocolates! Loved telling jokes, playing cards, betting on sports at his favorite bars: Jerry's Place and The Keg. Enjoyed telling old stories from the Bush neighborhood where he grew up.
He is survived by his daughters Lisa Romeis,Staci Brashi (Steve Bohan), Grandchildren Sharontae Brashi , Aysha, Annaleise and Errol Romeis. Brother, Joe Brashi(Kathy). Sister in-law Beverly Marshall. Best friend, Jeff Fields. Nieces and nephews: Mike Tuggle, Laura Baggett(Kevin), Ann Marie Dorn, Joey Brashi(Jessica). Proceeded in death by his parents John Brashi Sr and Mary Brashi(Loniello). Daughter Elizabeth Packer,His ex wife and good friend Jackie Brashi. Per John's request, no services will be held.
