John Marc Bunn

John Marc Bunn passed away on December 4, 2025 in the care of Valley Hospice House. He was born on March 21, 1954 to William Lloyd and Rosa Mary (Jewsbury) Bunn in Streator, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Tammy, and 5 children: Jesse Bunn, Andy Bunn, Monica Garland, Cody Bunn and Megan Bunn as well as 5 wonderful grandchildren. He was deeply loved by his siblings Tara Scherschligt, Jeff (Lori) Bunn and Lisa Jones in addition to numerous neices, nephews and cousins, and many friends. Marc grew up in the mountains of Colorado and although he and Tammy relocated to North Carolina several years ago, Colorado was always near and dear to his heart. He served in the United States Army and was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne Division. Marc never met a stranger and will be remembered for his willingness to always come to someone's aid if he saw they needed help. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be arranged by the family at a later date.
