John Edward Doebley

John E. Doebley, ("Jack"), beloved husband of Lynn E. Doebley nee Upright for 43 years. Devoted father of Jessica Manis, (Jordan) and Jacilyn Chirchirillo, (Nick). Loving grandfather of Devon, Tyler, Cayden and Reese. Also survived by his sisters, Diane Doebley, Debra Doebley and Kathleen Bartnikowski and his brothers Thomas and James. Predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Wilhelmina and brother Robert. Jack graduated from ArchBishop Ryan High School class of 74'. Jack served in the Air Force as a radio operator from October 1974 through September 1978. He served in Germany and received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He met his wife, when returning home, at the place they worked together. After 32 years, Jack retired from his career as a mail carrier in Philadelphia. Jack's greatest joy was being "Pops," "Pop-pop'" and "Popsy." He spent his retired years as a dedicated grandfather to his four grandchildren, the lights of his life. He enjoyed spending time at the family's farmhouse in Richfield, PA. Jack could often be found spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoyed watching the Eagles, Phillies, and Penn State Football. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at the Bucks County Community Church, 1249 West Maple Avenue, Langhorne, PA 19047, Thursday February 5th at 11:00 am.
