John Patrick Duffy, Jr

John Patrick Duffy Jr., 83 died peacefully on November 20, 2025 in Port St. Lucie Florida after a brief illness. He was born in Providence RI to the late Margaret Duffy (O'Loughlin) and John P. Duffy Sr. He was the loving husband of Patricia Duffy (Ferrucci) for over 64 years. Father to the late John P. Duffy III(Paula), Walter Duffy (Jodi), Michelle Duffy (Sherry) and Joseph Duffy (Stephanie). His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was predeceased by his grandson Ryan. Loved by Nicole, Megan, Shannen, Kylee, Zakkary, and Owen. He had 2 great- grandchildren Sean and Waylyn. We all knew him as Poppi. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Fairchild (David). He was predeceased by his siblings Anna, Martin and Rita. He was a long time employee of Colfax Packing Company in Pawtucket, RI before retiring to Florida. Proud member of the Teamsters Local 251. He will be remembered as a fierce Patriots and Red Sox fan and a fun loving grandfather. There will be a celebration of life in Matunuck RI, summer of 2026.
