John "Jack" Morgan, age 80, of Waterford, Pennsylvania, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 24, 2025.
Jack was devotedly married to the love of his life, Karen Morgan (Lesik), for 58 wonderful years. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work. In his final waking moments, Jack shared a tender and unforgettable goodbye—slow dancing and singing to his wife, a reflection of the deep love that defined their life together.
He was a loving and dedicated father to his three children: Kirk Morgan (Sarah Morgan, Alsdorf), Chad Morgan (Jan Morgan, Peters), and Dawn Banister (Joe Banister).
Jack was a proud and devoted grandfather to six grandsons who brought him immense joy: Garret, Wesley, Dawson, and Levi Morgan, and Collin and Clayton Banister. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Chapman and several nieces and nephews.
Jack was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord Jesus Christ and lived his life guided by faith. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 66 for 55 years, a testament to his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment.
Outside of work, he found happiness in riding his horses, baling hay, and spending winters in Florida, where he enjoyed time with friends, playing shuffleboard, swimming in the pool, and relaxing on the beach. Many who knew Jack will picture him now riding his horse into the sunset, joyfully heading home to Heaven.
Jack was a quiet man with a heart of gold. He lived humbly, worked hard, and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him dearly.
