John Frank Keelan

KEELAN, John Frank (Jack), age 88, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026 at PRHC Peterborough with his family by his side. Beloved husband to Anita (nee Arsenault) for 63 years and loving Dad to daughters Denise Keelan (Richard Salmonds) of Lindsay, ON and Jaclyn Magoon (Ian Magoon) of Lake Placid, FL. Jack was also a much loved Pop to four grandchildren Steven Keelan, Katie Missions (Kent), Andrew Johnson (Crystal Perry) and Emma (Rosie Budd) Brown, as well as four great grandchildren.

Born in Windsor, Ontario, Jack had a long and active life as a family man, farmer and trucker. He was raised in Windsor, lived in Oshawa, Little Britain, Lindsay, and retired to their cottage near Arden before moving to Peterborough. In addition to being a wonderful husband and father, Jack found much joy in his many friends, riding motorcycles, traveling all over North America, spending winters in Daytona Beach and spoiling his sidekick dog Rosie.

Jack’s family would like to thank our extended family, friends and neighbors for their support and compassion during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the many doctors and nurses at PRHC Peterborough.
