John McFadden, 92, went to heaven on November 15, 2025, in Bradenton, Florida.

Born on May 21, 1933, in Dunellen, New Jersey to John and Marie (Sheenan) McFadden. John lived through nearly a century of profound change and progress. He was the fourth of seven children. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and a devout Catholic. John was a veteran of the Navy and a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in electrical engineering.

He was proceeded in death by his first wife of 25 years, Betty Frenchick. He was blessed with two children from this marriage, John and David McFadden.

In 1986 he married Rosina De Luca. They were happily married for more than 39 years. In 1989 he retired and moved to Florida.

John and Rosina started a small business helping people open home healthcare agencies. This endeavor eventually grew to employ more than 50 employees and helped thousands of people open home healthcare agencies.

John was known for his kindness and generosity. Hand him a tool and he could fix almost anything. He loved to run, bike and play golf. He continued to pursue these activities past his 90th birthday. He always had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his wife, Rosina McFadden, three sons John and David (Janine) McFadden and John Dapello, as well as six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

May his memory bring comfort to all who were touched by his presence. A Funeral Mass will be held on January 16, 2026, at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 12001 69th Street E.
